Dr. Laura's racial slur controversy and subsequently quitting her show brings to mind another recent and infamous talk radio personality: Don Imus. CBS News reported that the network fired Imus in 2007 following an incident in which he used racial slurs on the air.

Moving on, when shopping for car mirrors online you should feel comfortable getting in touch with the customer service department. You may not need to do this, but if you have any questions it makes good sense. You might as well get your questions answered before you order, this will save you a lot of stress and heart ache in the long run.

I believe it is the Kia Rio that retails for just under 10K. If you were to buy 45 Rios you would just begin to match the price of the Mercedes SLR McLaren. With an MSRP of $452,750, even a Bentley becomes a bargain. It is quite likely, however, if you can afford this car you'll not be worrying about price. Instead, the V8 engine pushes out 671 horses, 208 mph top speed, and 3.8 seconds of zero to 60 acceleration…certain to excite you. If that is not enough, try gull wing doors, bi-Xenon headlamps, sidepipe exhaust, turbine wheels, carbon fiber bucket seats covered in leather, a 7 speaker Bose sound system, and lots more. If that still isn't enough there must be some Mercedes parts you can order!

parts store Lack of Compression - If the air and the fuel isn't being compressed the right way, the combustion process that's supposed to start your engine won't work - at all. They way to fix this is to check your piston rings and see if they appear to be worn at all. You should also inspect your intake and exhaust valves to make sure that they're sealed completely and properly.

2) The junk yard. While you might think you are above visiting a junk yard, are you above saving a lot of money? Probably not. advance auto parts store in at the local junk yard might save you a lot of money compared to a new air filter. And, even better, this ties directly into point #1. A friend of my, Robert, needed an auto part so he looked online and found a junk yard. The junk yard shipped him a part that was almost new and he couldn't have been happier. Just cause an air filter is used, doesn't mean it's very used!

Once you have located the oil pan and drain plug, you are ready to look for the oil filter. This one can be a little tricky. On many cars, the filter is a small cannister that sticks out of the side of the motor. It will be from 3 to 5 inches in diameter and from 4 to 6 inches long. Notices whether it seems like it is the size of a can of corn or smaller or if it is much larger. This will affect what type of tool you will need to remove it. On some cars, the filter may be on the front of the motor and on a few others it will be upside down on one side of the top of the motor. Make sure you can reach it and the oil plug. If you see this as a problem, you may not want to change your own oil.

While having both inventory and a competitive price is important, the other thing that a Ford car parts specialty site can offer is their expertise. You can purchase a part with confidence if you actually talk to some one and they help guide you to the correct part. It is definitely in the sites best interest that you get the right part and are satisfied with it.

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting with someone that is having to tackle lawn mowing for the first time and she told me how she pulled and pulled on that starter and it still didn't start. This is usually a 9/16 or a 5/8, but can be smaller. If it is metric, it will be somewhere between a 7 and a 15. The auto parts store can probably look this up for you if you are really mystified. You will need a filter wrench to remove the oil filter. These come in two basic sizes to match large and small sized filters. You will be wise to buy an inexpensive funnel for using when you fill your motor back up with oil. You will also need a pan to drain your used oil into. You might want to check with the auto parts store about the best place to take your used motor oil for recycling.

Now..just what is a compression fitting? If you look at a new piece of steel brake line you will notice that the ends of that line are flared. This flaring is to insure that the end of the line, once it is inserted in the proper fitting, will serve to seal the line once you have tightened down the nuts. But what if, like me, you break a line that is buried up in the frame and to move or disturb it..will just break more of the line..as it is already corroded? And the break is about mid way between fittings? Then, you have a problem.
